Jasmine Valdez Found Guilty
On Thursday, February 2nd, a jury convicted Jasmine Valdez of multiple crimes including Shooting At or From a Motor Vehicle Resulting in Great Bodily Harm, 3 Counts of Abuse of a Child and Aggravated Battery, Aggravated Assault Against a Household Member, 3 Counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. The jury also made special findings that these crimes were committed with the use of a firearm.
On January 17, 2021, She conspired with her brother and her friend to chase her ex-girlfriend in traffic, and shoot the vehicle with multiple people inside. Two people were struck with bullets.
No sentencing date is set yet.
